What are dermal fillers?

Dermal fillers are injectable treatments specially formulated to diminish lines and wrinkles and lift or add volume to your cheeks and lips.

Many dermal fillers contain hyaluronic acid, a substance that your skin naturally produces. Hyaluronic acid hydrates and nourishes skin, and acts as a cushioning agent that softens your appearance.

When a hyaluronic acid dermal filler is injected under your skin, it absorbs water and expands, filling in wrinkles and lifting sunken areas, like your cheeks.

What is Restylane and XpresHAn Technology?

Restylane is a family of dermal fillers. Each product targets specific facial concerns, but they all contain hyaluronic acid in a smooth, gel base.  Some of the products in the Restylane family encompasses XpresHAn Technology.  This is a unique manufacturing technology that allows the injected filler to integrate into the tissue, allowing for more flexible and naturally occurring movement.

Restylane Defyne:

Defyne treats moderate and severe facial wrinkles and folds, including those around your nose and mouth. It also diminishes nasolabial folds that run from your nose to the corners of your mouth.  Utilizing the ExpresHAn Technology, Defyne helps restore a more youthful appearance while helping maintain your natural expression and movement.

Restylane Contour:

Contour targets your cheeks, restoring lost volume and improving cheek contours with a natural lift.  Contour is the only cheek filler made with ExpresHAn Technology, allowing for natural and expressive movement.

Restylane Kysse and Refyne:

These products are both designed to target the lips and wrinkles around your mouth. Both are made with ExpresHAn Technology, and offer the natural and expressive movement of the lips and mouth.  Kysse provides a fullness to the lips, while Refyne softens the laugh lines.

Restylane Lyft:

Lyft is the first and only FDA approved filler for both the face and hands. Used to treat volume loss and wrinkes, this versatile filler is great to complete a more youthful and refreshed appearance.

What is Revanesse® Versa™?

Revanesse Versa is a hyaluronic acid filler that corrects moderate or severe wrinkles and folds. It’s produced in a way that makes a smooth product that creates natural-looking results, allows a precise application, and breaks down slowly.  It has been utilized in Canada since 2002 and became available in the United States last year. It is used for the cheek, lips, marionette lines and for the tear trough area.

What is Sculptra® Aesthetic?

Your skin produces less collagen over time, causing it to lose strength and resilience, and form wrinkles. Sculptra is an injectable poly-L-lactic acid, which contains microparticles that stimulate collagen production.
